Epilepsy Leadership Council is a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing epilepsy awareness, advocacy, and leadership development for individuals affected by epilepsy and their families.
The Challenge
The organization was operating without a cohesive web presence, which made it hard to coordinate advocacy efforts, share resources, or connect with the epilepsy community nationwide. There was also a budget reality: nonprofits rarely have the resources of a commercial client, so the rebuild had to deliver a professional result within a nonprofit-friendly scope.
What We Built
Noble Digital built a comprehensive, accessible website featuring leadership programs, advocacy initiatives, educational resources, and community events. The professional design emphasizes mission and impact through clear messaging and intuitive navigation, making it easy for patients, families, and healthcare professionals to find what they need.
Accessibility drove the build. A nonprofit serving people affected by epilepsy needs a site everyone can use, so the design favors high contrast, readable type, predictable navigation, and restrained motion. Custom post types power the resource library and events calendar so staff can publish new material without technical help, and video integration brings program stories to life. Event registration was integrated to support nationwide programming, all within a custom WordPress development approach sized to the organization’s budget.
Strategic SEO optimization targeted epilepsy advocacy, leadership, and support searches to connect with a national audience.
The Result
The council now has a central hub for coordinating advocacy and publishing resources without developer involvement. Community Engagement Manager Cassie Corral described the experience: “I had a fantastic experience working with Ben Noble on a recent website redesign. He was reliable, knowledgeable, attentive to details, and consistently delivered updates and revisions in a timely manner.”
